Studio Calico Planner: November 2016 Sneaks

Hi planner friends, sharing my Studio Calico sneak images for the month of November!

1) Gratitude Planner
Supplies: Sonnet main planner kit, Hello Forever planner refill pack, Hello Forever Graystone planner

As a member of the Studio Calico Creative Team, one of my personal goals is to suggest different ways on how to use planners. I'm sure, a lot of us crafters own more than one planner, haha. This month, I chose gratitude as my theme. This is a good way to get rid of negative thoughts! Let's appreciate the little things in life! :) For this project, the new vertical layout of the Hello Forever weekly page worked for me because it has a designated space for writing lists.

2) Hobonichi page
Supplies: Sonnet main planner kit, 3x4 stamp set by One Little Bird

This is a page from my daily journal. I had nothing to say about my day, so I just made a list of the projects that I did at work.

3) Vertical Weekly Page
Supplies: Sonnet main planner kit, 3x4 stamp set by One Little Bird, Hello Forever planner refill pack, Hello Forever Graystone planner

I love the translucent effect of the washi strips from the kit. It appeared as if I stamped the words directly on the tape strips.

4) Daily Journal
Supplies: Sonnet main planner kit, 3x4 Fresh Start stamp set by Hello Forever, 2017 Calendar Washi

Ahh, my favorite project! These are pages from my Hobonichi A6 journal. This is a sample of how I want to document my 2017.

5) Planning for 2017
Supplies: Sonnet main planner kit, 3x4 Fresh Start stamp set by Hello Forever, 2017 Calendar Washi, Hello Forever Graystone planner

I know, it's still October, but.. Hello Forever's 3x4 Fresh Start add-on stamp set prompted me to do this project early :)

Studio Calico Creative Team 2016

Sorry, this post is 5 months late! I'm happy to share that I was chosen to be one of the newest members of the Studio Calico Creative team this year! I love Studio Calicothe designs of their products are classic, simple, and tasteful, and the stamp sets are of the best quality!

Our role is to show crafters how easy it is to work with SC products through uploading gallery images and blog tutorials. Each CT member is assigned to a kit (scrapbook / documenter / planner / stationery). I am part of the Planner Team alongside Rachel Lim of Scrappin' Love. Every month since April, I've been contributing 3 (or more) projects to the SC gallery using the main kit, add-on kit, and add-on stamp sets. Here are the kits that I've worked with so far and some sample projects! Note: I will write a separate blog post for each kit and post all projects that I submitted. Please stay tuned!

Pinterest Board Links

Currently creating a Pinterest link directory to make my life easier - I have 392+ boards and it's such a hassle to look for specific pins when I need them! Hope they will add a 'subfolder' feature soon, or provide an option where we can automatically arrange our boards in alphabetical order.

1 Stamp Set, 5 Ways: Clearly Kelly Outline Alphabet

If you've been following me on Instagram, you must have noticed that I am obsessed with clear stamp sets! #rilovesstamps  What I love about stamps is that I can use them over and over again - such a great value for my money! I never talked about my favorite tool on my blog, so I'm starting a new section titled "1 Stamp Set, 5 Ways" where I will share my most loved (and stained) stamps + samples of how I use them on my craft projects. This idea was inspired by one of my favorite magazines, PaperCrafts Stamp It! 3 Ways. If you've been thinking about buying a particular stamp set, this blog segment might help you! #EnablerAlert

For my first post, I am featuring the Clearly Kelly Outline Alphabet stamp set (designed by Kelly Purkey for Hero Arts). Got so excited when Life Documented Manila announced last March that they will sell this at The Block Party event -- my sister and I made sure to visit their booth on the first day! Used it as soon as I got home! (check out the first photo)

01

Becky Higgins Project Life title cards.  Letters are of the right height!

02

This is how I organize my Project Life cards. I will never change this system!

03

Patterned card. Stamped the letters one by one. Tiring? Yes. But I love how it turned out!

04

Played around with the shapes!

05

Love using it on my art journal!

This stamp set is so versatile. There will be a Volume 2 of this post, I'm sure!
