My nephew smiles a lot during mornings, glad I was able to capture this candid photo of him happily looking at his mom..   (January 2012)

Gifts: Scrapbook Layouts

These are the gifts that I gave to my friends last Christmas..  I wanted to give them something meaningful, so I made collages of our fun memories (engagement dinner, kid's 1st birthday party, out-of-the-country trip, day at a theme park, rare night out, birthday celebrations)

 My favorite layouts:

 

Placed them inside white envelopes

To add an elegant touch, I created black-and-white gift tags and stuck them to the plain envelopes. I used Gotham, one of my favorite fonts. Very simple and classic.

I also printed copies for myself! Will post separate blog posts for each layout next time :)

Bucket List: Parasailing

Bucket List Item #2:  Parasailing in Pattaya 

This activity's one of the best parts of our Thailand trip. It wasn't scary at all! I've never felt so free and relaxed! I'll never forget how fun, thrilling, and amazing this experience was! Adventurous na ako! Hehe!

Notes about my "bucket list" scrapbook: 

I changed the page size from 4x6" to 5x7" to make room for white space.  When I printed my previous layout, I noticed that it looked too compressed. The photos came out small.. our faces are not that recognizable. Adding design elements on a 4x6" can be a challenge, especially for a multiple photo layout. A bigger document size can be more costly though ..but I can't settle for bad prints so I might as well splurge :)

Bucket List: Visit Mixz in NY

Bucket list scrapbook = collection of accomplished goals and dreams

INSPIRATION:

• Vision board concept

The layouts will be kept in a 4 x 6" photo album. I'm keeping them small so I can save on printing costs and it doesn't require a lot of time to create them. It will be easy to follow through this project.
