Make Ideas Happen: Project Life CT: June

Hi PL friends! Here are some project ideas for you :)

Prompt: Document you and your friends' favorite activity.

My friends and I love trying out restaurants, we rarely repeat! Each get-together with this group is a new experience and I make sure that I get to document my favorite food adventures w/ them. This meet-up was extra special 'cos it was the day that one of my close friends announced that she's engaged - in the form of a surprise note :D It was a happy day for all of us!

On this spread, I chose mostly pastel-colored cards from the Noted set - which I think complement the photos of CO/OP's interiors. By the way, I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends in Manila! It's located in Mabini, San Juan -- a bit close to our favorite local scrapbook shop :) Their Cobb Salad is sooo good!

Layout idea: Enlarge a digital filler card to 12x12.

The original plan for this "Live the Life" print was to have it framed and displayed on my workspace wall. After I got my printout, I realized that the size was small and I had to reprint it (see item #4). Good thing this fits the 12x12 BH page protector perfectly and I was still able to use it :) I love how clean and graphic this spread turned out.

Layout idea: Use only one color of cards.

The name of the resort that we stayed in is Vivere Azure (blue), so I thought of using shades of blue for the cards. If you want your spread to look easy on the eye, I suggest that you choose the color that is most dominant in your photos.

It's the first time that I used the Project Life mini album, I think I might need more stocks of this! It's so easy to use! I got this from Paper Market in Singapore back in 2013. Project Idea: Framed filler card

One of my creative goals this year is to revamp my workspace. I've been reading Marie Kondo's book and pinning photos from @theworkspacestylist 's Instagram feed…. So inspiring! I am aiming for the same minimalist look. I replaced my vision boards with simpler prints. I'm a fan of Kal Barteski's brush script, I'm sooo happy that this idea crossed my mind - this item definitely "sparks joy"!!!
