Remember my "Road Trip" spread? This was our destination - Costa Pacifica, Baler! Yes, the eight-hour trip was worth it :)
I'd like to share with you a simple and short description on how I assembled this spread...
1) I gathered all of my memorabilia from the trip, chose the best ones and placed them inside the pockets.
2) To speed up the decision-making process, I opted to use only one kit for this spread, Dear Lizzy Daydreamer. I went over all of the designs and grouped together all of the cards that I liked from the kit. (I got almost everything, hehe)
3) From my stash of my 'favorite' cards, I chose the cards that I love the most and slipped them inside the pockets.
4) Since I had the idea of the number of pockets to fill with photos already, I selected photos and planned the layout on Photoshop (Post-its don't work for me)
5) I had my pictures printed at Photoline & slipped these inside the empty pockets as soon as I got the prints. Also played around with the position of some photos till the layout looked balanced.
Last part: I chose journal cards that will serve as backgrounds for my memorabilia and square photos. Click this photo to view the larger version.
